Diane H. Leonard, GPC, RST is a Grant Professional Certified (GPC), Approved Trainer of the Grant Professionals Association, and a Registered Scrum Trainer (RST) through Scrum Inc.

Diane began her career as a Program Officer for a state-wide grantmaking organization and continues to serve as a reviewer for various grantmaking organizations. This unique insider perspective guides her work as the founder of DH Leonard Consulting, which she established in 2006. Under her leadership, the firm has grown into the world’s premier Agile consultancy focused exclusively on supporting nonprofits, charities, and NGOs. By integrating Agile ways of working to achieve greater impact at a sustainable pace, Diane and her team have successfully secured more than $180.67 million in competitive grant awards.

A passionate educator, Diane has personally trained more than 110,671 nonprofit professionals. This includes equipping over 100,000 individuals with Agile grant-writing skills and training over 7,000 individuals to apply Agile methodologies in any nonprofit team setting.

Diane is also an author, having written Playbook for Changemakers: Agile Ways of Working That Amplify Impact. A highly sought-after keynote speaker, trainer, and the co-host of the Agile Driven Impact podcast, she has spoken before audiences of over 500 people. She has presented annually at the Grant Professionals Association GrantSummit since 2012 and at the Nonprofit Storytelling Conference since 2017 on Agile approaches to teamwork and grant writing.

When not working with her team to transform the nonprofit sector, Diane can be found in the 1000 Islands, out for a run, or drinking a strong cup of coffee.
