Lisa Temoshok. LMHC and H. Aldervan Daly, CFRE, have explored trauma-informed fundraising practices and how they affect the fundraiser. Based on their feedback over the last year, they are looking at how fundraisers use language to describe their work and relationship with donors. They will use surveys and plenty of Q&A time to explore language and practices to help be healthy fundraisers.

Lisa has 20 years of experience working collaboratively with clients of diverse ages and cultures as a yoga and meditation instructor and psychotherapist. She specializes in PTSD and healing the traumas and losses that impact all of us through Mindfulness-based somatic therapy (MB-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Lisa enjoys bringing these evidence-based skills to professional groups to promote creativity, ease and joy.

H. Aldervan Daly, CFRE, is the VP of Development and Communications at HousingPlus Inc., a “housing-first” organization providing housing and support to women and women-led families. Aldervan authors the blog "The Thoughtful Approach To...". Aldervan co-presented a workshop at AFP ICON – Trauma Informed Fundraising: the Fundraiser and the Donor. He earned an MFA in fundraising and marketing from Virginia Tech and a BA in International Studies from Rhodes College. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
