AFP Complimentary Webinar: How to Love Your CRM Again

When:  Aug 7, 2025 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)

1:00-2:00 PM Eastern | Presenters: Emily Finton, CFRE, Jenn Abel, and Jett Scott Winders

Conventional wisdom says that when your fundraising platform ceases to serve you, it must be time to move on. But with the advent of ever more interoperable systems and tools, nonprofits can sometimes get the results they want by extending and customizing their existing CRM.

In this webinar, Heller Consulting’s Jett Scott Winders speaks with two development ops leaders at a leading specialty children’s hospital about their strategic journey to keep Raiser’s Edge and extend its capabilities with Microsoft’s Power Platform. Kennedy Krieger Institute’s AVP of Philanthropy Operations Emily Finton and Director of Donor Services Jennifer Abel will share how the Institute streamlined and elevated its data strategy, leveraged best-in-class donor engagement practices, and reimagined its CRM as a self-service tool for gift officers.

Attendees will leave with an actionable case study on strategic decision-making and clear guidelines on what their first steps should be in any major technology project.
