Make plans to join this month’s AFP Luncheon to hear about the 2023 City of Tulsa Equality Indicators report.   Melanie Poulter, Research and Data Director at the Tulsa Area United Way will present the latest findings from the recently released report.

As fundraisers it’s important to know the issues that our city faces and the work being done to address them, which includes our work that makes a positive impact on our city.   The report illuminates the disparities we face as a city and the progress that we are making working on them.  We know to eliminate the disparities, it requires honest reflection and cross-sector collaboration among many partners, including the city and other governmental bodies, nonprofit organizations, the business community, funders, researchers, and people with lived experience.

We are part of the solution as fundraisers and learning more and being armed with this information as we do our jobs can only be helpful as we all strive to make our city a better place to live, work and raise a family.
