Membership Scholarships

To advance our profession and grow chapter membership, the Greater Hudson Valley Chapter is offering scholarships for the 2026-2027 year to help qualified individuals and organizations attain AFP membership. Currently, scholarships are available for New GHV Professional Membership, Small Nonprofit Organizations, and Emerging Fundraising Professional Scholarships.  More information can be found in the application. The deadline for scholarship applications is rolling.

Chamberlain Scholarship
AFP ICON is the world's #1 fundraising conference. If you have never attended, now is your chance! The AFP Foundation awards each chapter one scholarship for a member who has never attended this prestigious conference before. This individual must be employed full-time in the fundraising profession, be an AFP member for at least 2 years and have served on a committee. If this sounds like you, complete the application below before January 23, 2026. This year's conference takes place April 26 - 28 in San Diego, California.

The Chamberlain Scholarship Application is closed for the 2026 year.

AFP Global's Scholarship Information

Scholarships are the backbone of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy’s mission. The Foundation provides hundreds of scholarships every year for fundraisers —both AFP members and non-members —to help them elevate their professional skills through education, networking, leadership development, and more. Our scholarships serve young professionals, those who self-identify as diverse, those new to the profession, and all fundraisers who need these resources.
