AFP San Diego Mentorship Program: Share your wisdom or gain some – it’s a win-win for all!

The 2021 Mentorship cycle is now closed. Please check back in early 2022 for more information.

Are you seeking trusted guidance from an experienced development professional in whom you can confide? Ever feel unsure of how to address work challenges and wish you had someone to go to for advice? Fortunately, AFP San Diego offers a mentorship program that has helped many members over the years and may be just what you want.

The goal of the AFP San Diego Mentorship Program is to help new (or experienced) development professionals find answers to their questions about specific areas of fundraising and issues and opportunities in today’s working environment, by providing a positive relationship with an experienced professional who will serve as a one-on-one mentor and provide professional guidance.

AFP San Diego will match development professionals with applicants who have requested a mentor. Mentors are to provide the mentee with career and/or fundraising advice and are asked to meet a minimum of four to six times during the six-month cycle. The Mentorship Program is free to AFP San Diego members.
