Event Description:
Studies show that donors ask less about where their money is spent and more about the impact their donation is making. But nonprofit leaders do not always know how to communicate their organization's impact to retain donors and attract new ones. So, how can nonprofit leaders effectively communicate impact to stakeholders and donors? This chapter meeting will serve as a story-telling workshop to address how to share your organization's impact in exciting and compelling ways!

Speaker: Casey Nelson, MA
Casey is a nonprofit executive leader, passionate about philanthropy and has worked in the nonprofit sector in San Diego for the past 15 years. She has led fundraising efforts for small local and large national nonprofits. She is currently serving on the Corporate Partnerships team for Susan G. Komen as Director of Pharma & Life Sciences. Casey is thrilled to lead this workshop as she wrote her thesis on story-telling in the nonprofit sector for her MA program in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
