Join AFP San Diego’s Emerging Leaders for a thoughtful presentation hosted by career coach Marcia Wall. Marcia will guide us through a meaningful and interactive discussion on shifting your approach to career growth and development, including understanding that careers are journeys and not destinations. In this session you will identify how you want your career to serve and align with your goals and how to manage ambiguities and unexpected opportunities. Marcia will offer insights, tips, and resources, and also answer questions so that you too can reimagine your career journey and develop a deeper career purpose.
About the Speaker:
Marcia Wall, M. A., CCSP, GCDF - Marcia coaches individuals to live their best professional lives. Her expertise lies in the areas of career services, coaching, workshop facilitation, and writing. Her coaching style is both holistic and strategic. It is also rooted in DEI principles and practices. She is a Global Career Development Facilitator and a Certified Career Services Provider through the National Career Development Association. She is also certified through Recovery Innovations International to support people with a recovery mindset. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Rhetoric and the Teaching of Writing and is a former English professor and instructor.
