J. Michael Prince is President & CEO, as well as Board Member of USPA Global Licensing Inc. (USPAGL), the official licensor and broadcaster for the United States Polo Association, recognized as one of the oldest governing bodies in United States sports. In his role, Michael provides executive leadership overseeing the iconic sport- inspired U.S. Polo Assn. brand, which has a $1.7 billion global footprint and represented across 190 countries worldwide. He also oversees the Company’s 1,100 global retail stores, digital strategy, brand marketing, global partnerships, and operations. Michael assists with the Company’s global broadcasting business that showcases high-profile polo games reaching millions of viewers worldwide through multiple platforms including Global Polo TV. Recently ranked the 5th largest global sports licensor in License Global magazine’s list of “Top 150 Global Licensors”, U.S. Polo Assn. now takes its place alongside such iconic sports brands as the National Football League, National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball.

Michael previously served as President & COO, as well as Board member at Cole Haan, the global lifestyle brand. Prior to joining Cole Haan, he served as COO of Guess Inc. He joined Guess Inc. from Nike, Inc., where he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Nike Affiliates overseeing Cole Haan, Converse, Hurley and Umbro. Michael previously held the same position for Converse, Inc., a Nike subsidiary. He is also Treasurer of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

Michael received a BS from East Central University, as well as an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he serves on the Board of Visitors and Finance Committee. He is a registered member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma where he has established an annual scholarship for Native American students. He has also established a scholarship for Fuqua and is one of the signature sponsors for Duke’s Annual Art Basel event held in Miami, recognized as one of the largest global influencer and Duke alumni events in the world.

Michael will speak about USPA’s presence globally and in the Palm Beach County community, the sport of polo, and his role as CEO. We will also hear about how and why they engage with the community and what they look for in establishing community partners.
