I have a passion for life and love helping businesses and nonprofit organizations achieve their philanthropic and strategic communications goals. Over the past 30 years, I have had the privilege to work as the marketing director for an international travel company and a top-ranked liberal arts college; to start my own consulting practice and help small nonprofits grow and thrive; to work with one of the region's top foundations raising awareness about important education and social issues and needs; to build corporate sponsorships and community partnerships for WEDU, the nation's 14th largest PBS television station; and currently to develop donor relations and corporate support for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Sarasota and Manatee Counties, a local affiliate for the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. What ties all of my experiences together is a powerful belief in the importance of serving my community and helping identify and create opportunities for individuals and organizations to thrive by showcasing the incredible work they are doing to make the world a better place.
