  • Planned Giving Certificate Program with Jim Meyer

The two night  course (April 3 and April 10, both nights 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM) will cover the history of planned gifts, types of gifts that make up the world of planned giving, planned giving sources of information, and setting up and marketing of a Planned Giving Program at various levels. The program is ideal for anyone in, or interested in, the development area within a 501(c)3 organization.

You must attend both three hour sessions to be eligible for 6 CFRE credits.
  • February Program: Maximize Pipeline through P2P/DIY Events

Are you taking advantage of your peer to peer pipeline? Are you able to identify a major gift prospect from a fundraising event? Is your next million dollar P2P event champion sitting in a Major Gift portfolio?

This session will take a look at opportunities and challenges from the lens of Peer to Peer and Major Giving team members. We will cover what makes a donor most valuable to your institution: fundraising through a P2P event or individual giving? To answer that question, we have to look at each donor as an individual, identify their intention, evaluate their indicators, and plan their activation. Join us on the journey to successful blended giving.

    Our Speaker:

Pamela Mohr, senior director of development for Northwell Health’s Huntington Hospital, where she was responsible for closing the largest seven-figure gift in the hospital’s history and changing the philanthropic landscape of the community.
