Traci Weller is a seasoned philanthropic leader with more than three decades of experience in the nonprofit sector. As Senior Managing Director of Estate, Trust and Gift Planning at the Montana State University Alumni Foundation, she partners with donors and their advisors to design and complete complex gifts that advance every facet of MSU’s mission. She is especially passionate about helping individuals “give smarter,” aligning their philanthropic goals with meaningful, lasting impact.
Traci played a pivotal role in Montana State University’s first comprehensive campaign, including serving as the lead development professional in securing a transformational $50 million gift to the College of Engineering.
She earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2004 and, in 2014, was designated a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) through the American Institute of Philanthropic Studies at California State University, Long Beach.
A dedicated leader in the profession, Traci currently serves as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Montana Chapter and chairs its Communications Committee. In 2019, she was honored with the Outstanding Fundraising Professional Award for the state of Montana by AFP Montana and the Montana Nonprofit Association.
