The AFP Mahoning-Shenango Chapter (AFPMASH) supports local fundraising professionals through education programs, networking, and other activities.  Our Chapter members are from Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana counties in Ohio and Mercer, Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents more than 30,000 members in over 200 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs.  Founded in 1960 and formerly known as the National Society of Fundraising Executives (NSFRE), the association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession.  For more information, visit

Chapter Mission Statement

AFP Mahoning-Shenango Chapter, an association of professionals in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Mercer and Lawrence counties, advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising.  The core activities through which the AFP Mahoning-Shenango Chapter fulfills this mission include education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing and advocacy.
