This is a chance to hear from experts in the field on grants and grant seeking, visiting donors, and partnering intentionally in the community. The panel will also include time for audience questions. Lunch is included.

Centering the voices of individuals with lived experience through trauma-informed approaches in nonprofits is essential for bringing about meaningful change in our communities. In this session, we will:

  • Define and recognize the significance of lived experience.

  • Identify tools and resources to empower individuals with lived experience to share their own stories.

  • Understand the importance of ethical storytelling and partnership with lived experts.

  • Highlight ongoing efforts in Oklahoma to amplify the voices of individuals with lived experience.
