The Association of Fundraising Professionals Oklahoma Chapter (AFP OK) is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse organization that reflects, is responsive to, and embraces the diversity of the communities we serve in central Oklahoma; respecting and valuing all people. Our chapter is committed to promoting an inclusive, equitable and accessible organization where every member can realize their potential and have their contributions valued. AFP OK recognizes that Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access (IDEA) are central to its mission.

Welcome to AFP Oklahoma

The AFP Oklahoma Chapter advances and promotes philanthropy by empowering people and organizations to practice ethical and effective professional fundraising.

We do this through:

  • Education & Training
  • Promoting Credentialing
  • Providing Resources
  • Networking
  • Mentoring
  • Advocacy
  • Recognition

We are a very successful and effective mid-size chapter in existence since 1980, serving the Oklahoma City metro area and Oklahoma County. The chapter is known for quality monthly educational luncheons and for providing top-notch conferences, including our annual National Philanthropy Day event. Membership has steadily grown since our Chapter's inception and currently stands at approximately 140 members.

We have monthly chapter meetings featuring speakers and topics that are relevant to you as a fundraiser. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, 11:30am - 1:00pm (meetings are not held in July and the month of our National Philanthropy Day conference). Find out more information on our yearly calendar on the Events tab.
