
Heather Maneval - Interim President
Prior to launching Spur and Sprout, Heather held leadership positions at the York County History Center as the VP of Advancement and YWCA York as the Chief Development Officer. She also managed the annual fund for the Shippensburg University Foundation and worked with state and national member associations.
Tristin Millazo - President Elect
Tristin is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Cumberland and Perry Counties at Members 1st Federal Credit Union. Tristin previously held positions as the Community Outreach Director at the Cumberland County Historical Society and Development Coordinator at the Pennsylvania Cable Network. She now handles Members 1st's sponsorships, volunteers, and community events in her region and, through AFP, aims to help nonprofits and fundraisers understand what companies and other organizations look for in sponsorships.

Ivy Buchan - Professional Development Chair
Dr. Ivy R. Buchan fell in love with volunteerism and board governance as president of her high school community service club. While working at a domestic violence shelter in college, she decided to spend her career in the nonprofit sector. Over the last 20+ years Ivy has specialized in strategic planning, training, board development, collaborations, foundations, nonprofit management, membership-based entities, vision/program operationalization, and evaluation.
She earned her Ph.D. from IUP in Administration and Leadership Studies in the Nonprofit Sector, focusing on multidisciplinary team collaboration/engagement. Ivy is an AFP Master Trainer and a State and National Licensed Consultant. She has also edited three nonprofit textbooks, served as a graduate adjunct, started two nonprofits, and serves on several community boards including the AFP Central PA Board.

Ericka Michaels - Treasurer
Ericka is the current Annual and Special Gifts Officer at WellSpan Health, and over the last 8 years has worked in a variety of development roles with her organization. She is passionate about giving back to her community, and through AFP has enjoyed getting to form meaningful friendships of fellow fundraisers.

Jess Vinton - Conference Chair
Jessica has an extensive background in nonprofit fundraising. For over a decade, she has worked in a variety of development roles at organizations with missions ranging from STEM and art education to animal welfare, housing, and direct basic needs services. Jessica currently serves as the Director of Development at Brethren Housing Association, a role she worked in from 2018-2021, and recently returned to after spending several years supporting nonprofits across the country through her consulting business, Nonprofit Jess.

Veronica Adams - Secretary
Veronica is a nature lover, a community-centered resource mobilizer, and a believer in mutual aid. She’s worked in community spaces, nonprofits, grassroots movements, and gardens* for over ten years and is the founder of Veronica Anne Rae Consulting, a community-centered resource mobilizing consultancy. Her life’s work is to mobilize resources into the hands of those who are fostering community growth. With wide range, Veronica has executed and led campaigns ranging from $5,000 to $10 million for national non-profits, community spaces, grassroots movements, individuals, and more. Using her personal ethos of equity, her holistic and unique education, and her lived experience, Veronica’s goal is to help build and foster strong community bonds, helping to create the world we know we deserve in the process.
*A garden, either personal or communal, is a living representation of collaboration, giving, and growth. I have learned endlessly from my garden and from other gardeners, like Ross Gay. The inherent sharing in a garden has shown me how to thrive humbly and with gratitude in community.
