Special Announcement:  Our March Luncheon has been changed to a webinar given the COVID-19 health situation.  

The AFP Sierra Chapter Board of Directors has been monitoring the recent developments with the coronavirus (COVID-19). Because the health and safety of our members and guests who attend our events is of the upmost importance, the Board has decided to not hold the program at a public venue, but instead offer the program as a webinar for just a $10 registration fee for members, $15 for nonmembers.  The webinar will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 18th. 

If you have already registered for the lunch price, you will be issued a refund minus the webinar fee.  Of course, if you would like a full refund, we're happy to do that. Please let us know if you would like a full refund by 5 pm on Tuesday, March 17th.  If you selected "Pay at the Door", you will need to pay online before the webinar.  An email will be sent to you for that online payment on Monday morning.

Webinar Topic:  35 Ways to Maximize Online Fundraising 

Understand leading-edge - but easy-to-implement - ways of driving more online traffic, increasing the quality of those leads, and converting them into donors, event attendees, and other supporters. Use online tools and strategies to find grants, identify donors, improve search engine traffic, create a more compelling fundraising case, create and build needed relationships, have valuable information at your fingertips, create eye-catching videos, and identify the giving capacity of donors and prospects. We'll even analyze audience members' websites in an objective way so you can see how to easily improve your site and social media. Learn about numerous free websites, grants, and tools to enable you to use your online presence to help achieve your organization's goals.
 
Objectives/Learning Outcomes: At the conclusion of this session, participants will:
  • Understand innovative techniques for maximizing the fundraising results you achieve with your website and social media -- many of these techniques are easy to implement, and free or low cost.
  • Know which fundraising transactions and information to include in your website - and how to easily incorporate them in your site (or build a new site).
  • Learn about e-philanthropy case studies you can apply to your own nonprofit and website.
