Amy Harkins is a native of Little Rock graduating from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000 with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts. After graduating, Amy worked for Delta Trust and Bank before moving to Northwest Arkansas to make a career shift into fundraising at The Sam M. Walton College of Business at The University of Arkansas. Following a move back to Little Rock, Amy worked at Mount St. Mary Academy, Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Centers for Youth and Families.
In 2010, Amy stepped back from the professional fundraising world to be a community volunteer. Amy has been married to James Harkins for 17 years and they have a 14 year old son, Alex. In her free time, she enjoys attending Little Rock Central High Football games where her son is a cheerleader. Pre-pandemic, the family enjoyed being involved in the theatre community where Alex spent most of his time on stage. She loves playing tennis with her husband and enjoys a good beach vacation periodically.
