Fidel has held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in healthcare advertising and communications throughout his career. At Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, Fidel managed organizational communications. Prior to that, he worked in pharmaceutical advertising with account management and had Janssen as a client. His experience is enhanced with an MBA and marketing degree from Iona College in New York.
Fidel has over 20 years non-profit experience, having previously served on boards or committees for Miss America (1996-2022), The State Theater of New Jersey (2017-2022), Hyacinth AIDS Foundation (2008-2011), and The Theater Project (2008-2011). And has raised funds for many others including United Way, AIDS Walk NY & NJ, American Cancer Society, Susan G Komen Foundation, Human Rights Campaign and Garden State Equality.
As Director of Development & Communications, Fidel is a member of the Leadership Team at SAGE Eldercare in Summit NJ and responsible for developing and executing strategies in the identification, solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship of donors while increasing awareness of SAGE Eldercare and elevating its reputation.
