A long-time Dutchess County resident, I received a BA in History from Marist College and an AA in Liberal Arts and Humanities from Dutchess Community College. I am a 2010 graduate of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Dutchess program. I am a 2020 graduate of The Chamber Foundation's Executive Leadership Program. In 2011 I received the Forty Under 40 Shaker Award from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce. In 2021 I received the Athena Award from The Chamber Foundation.
As the Chief Development & Public Relations Officer at the Children's Home, I am primarily responsible for leading the organization’s advancement work. In partnership with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, I am tasked with developing and implementing a robust fundraising plan that increases fundraising revenues by expanding our donor base, engaging more fundraising volunteers and enhancing our fundraising programs including; donor stewardship, direct marketing (including publicity and publications), grants and special events.
In my volunteer roles, I currently serve on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter, am a member of The Chamber Foundation's Executive Leadership Programming Committee, serve on the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce's Women's Leadership Alliance Committee and a member of the Community Impact Council and a Grant Reviewer for the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region.
