About Our Chapter & Leadership

Welcome to AFP, Yosemite!

Founded in 1998 to support a growing nonprofit community, AFP Yosemite began as a small group of local professionals committed to strengthening fundraising in Stanislaus County and beyond. What started as informal networking and learning opportunities has grown into a vibrant chapter serving a broad region from the Central Valley to the Sierra foothills.

Today, AFP Yosemite brings together over 50 members dedicated to advancing philanthropy through professional development, education, networking, and ethical fundraising practices. As part of the global Association of Fundraising Professionals, we are proud to foster connection, share knowledge, and support those working to make a difference in our communities.
