President's Message

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and to connect here.  Our theme for 2021 is REFRESH: The Promise of Possibilities. As a Chapter, we are committed to providing exceptional resources and connections to support you personally and professionally.

Here you will be able to have experiences that allow you to grow and develop, explore new interests, and fully realize your potential as a professional Fundraiser. You can network with peers, hear from speakers and panels on relevant topics, learn new skills, and expand your network to engage in partnerships, collaboration, and opportunities to support each other. These experiences and more are our vision for AFP-CA!

Producing career-enhancement opportunities are central to our mission. Through monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month during the lunch period, through community networking, and via career connections you will continue to build and grow confidence in the field of fundraising.

Finally, our goal is to create a close-knit community that will support you, create a space to consult and bounce ideas and challenges off each other, and to ultimately help you achieve your vision of success. Our mission is to help you grow, discover, and realize your aspirations.
