Sarah Barclay, director of advancement in the UTK College of Communication & Information, focuses primarily on building the College’s annual giving programs for both the college and WUOT 91.9 FM. She joined CCI in January 2022. Previously, Sarah worked at California State University, San Marcos in donor relations. She earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2020.

Lauren Herbstritt is Senior Director of Annual Giving and Digital Strategy at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She focuses her work on digital fundraising including giving days, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer, employee giving , philanthropic commerce, student and young alumni philanthropy, recurring giving, and digital marketing. She has a BS from Middle Tennessee State University in Organizational Communications and a master's degree from UT Knoxville in Communication. With over 20 years of experience in fundraising, Lauren still gets a thrill every time the generosity of one person creates a multiplying effect throughout our Volunteer community. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cheering on the Vols, gardening, reading, and spending time in the mountains with her husband and children.
