Good morning,
I'm director of a small foundation that's a part of a larger association, however we have a 3-part organizational structure that includes our endowment. This structure requires three governing boards for each as well as two separate financial entities. A visual of the structure is attached.
It's our belief that this structure is unnecessarily complex and burdensome. I'm curious about other, more streamlined, organizational structures that are out there for association foundations. In addition to that, your feedback on structures that have worked well and those that did not in your experience is welcome as well.
Thanks so much.
