ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the English-Speaking Union of the United States (ESU-US) in their search for a Director of Development.
 
Reporting to the President/Executive Director, the Director will serve as ESU-US's chief fundraising strategist and be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy that advances ESU's mission through growing and diversifying annual and institutional support; elevating major and planned gifts; strengthening branch-level fundraising capacity; and stewarding a culture of philanthropy across the organization.

Salary:     
The salary range is $110,000 to $120,000. ESU offers a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions.

Qualifications:   

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least seven years of progressive fundraising leadership is required for this position. The English-Speaking Union of the United States will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. The purpose of the Executive Director is to ensure that the IEEE Foundation serves as a strong and effective partner to IEEE. This role encompasses both the strategic and operational aspects of advancing the Foundation’s vision, mission and core values. The ED leads the design and implementation of strategies, policies, programs, and practices that advance the work of the Foundation to be the heart of charitable giving at IEEE, while ensuring that day-to-day operations are responsive, efficient, and effective.

Salary:     
The estimated base compensation range is $225,000-$250,000. IEEE provides a comprehensive benefits package for the Executive Director of the Foundation.

This individual brings the leadership presence, judgment, and credibility to advance a complex philanthropic organization operating at the intersection of technology, volunteer engagement, and social impact. The candidate will be a compelling ambassador and relationship builder, capable of engaging donors, volunteer leaders, and institutional stakeholders in support of the Foundation’s mission and long-term growth.

Salary:

Qualifications:   

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, fundraising or a related field.
 
2–4 years of experience in fundraising and/or or nonprofit marketing. Experience managing annual fund preferred.

Qualifications:   

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive fundraising or advancement experience, preferably within an independent school landscape or higher education. The successful candidate must have direct experience in annual giving strategy, capital campaigns, and scholarship/endowment fundraising, and proven success cultivating, soliciting, and closing major gifts. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Must have the willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as required by the advancement calendar.
