What is National Philanthropy Day?
National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those people active in our philanthropic community – have made to our lives, our communities, and our world. Each year, AFP honors individuals and groups who, through their hard work and dedication, have enhanced and inspired philanthropy locally and around the globe.
This year's annual celebration is recognized on Thursday, November 14th, 2024.

Awardees will be honored on November 14th, 2024.
- The nominee must be notified and in agreement with the nomination process before the application is submitted. Previous awardees are not eligible for nomination until after 2 years.
