Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble. -Rep. John Lewis

In a year of unprecedented change and disruption, it is most important to come together to recognize those that have supported our communities and causes and helped make the struggle more bearable. Help the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties Chapter identify the most impactful troublemakers and difference makers. Then join us at the National Philanthropy Day celebration when we announce and honor these special individuals and organizations.

First held locally in 1987, National Philanthropy Day recognizes the great contributions of philanthropy - and those people active in the philanthropic community who have enriched our world. It also provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that is has made possible

Please submit your nominations via our online portal HERE - Nominations and supporting documentation must be received before September 7th to be considered.
