About:
Sea Island Habitat for Humanity (SIHH) is seeking candidates for a member of our Development Team! This new role will have an emphasis on managing and coordinating charitable giving initiatives and campaigns for Sea Island Habitat for Humanity (SIHH). Primary focus will be to maintain donor data, increase donor support and mission visibility to sustain SIHH’s projects and programs. This position works to support all efforts of the Development Department. Ability to work well with volunteers, donors, and staff is vital. Administrative-level experience with fundraising or CRM databases is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
Capital Campaign
- Acknowledge and track campaign gifts
- Update and maintain tracking of the capital campaign efforts
- Ensure up-to date progress reports and naming opportunities list
- Make arrangements for donor cultivation meetings and small campaign events
- Respond to requests from capital campaign consultants
- Coordinate committee meetings with campaign leaders and ensure necessary materials are organized and available at the meeting.
- Organize and update campaign materials
Donor Database
- Manage and maintain the donor database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
- Input, update, and retrieve donor information as needed.
- Generate reports and analyze data to support fundraising initiatives
- Ensure data integrity
Development & Fundraising
- Process and produce gift acknowledgement letters
- Assist in the activities and planning of subsequent committees
- Maintain and distribute current listings of upcoming events within and outside SIHH for distribution to employees, staff, news media, local and state agencies, and educational institutions.
- Assist in coordination publications including annual reports, brochures, pamphlets, newsletters, and other materials as needed to promote understanding of Sea Island Habitat.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Experience: Fundraising: 1 year (Preferred) Donor
- Database: 1 year (Preferred)
