Welcome!

The AFP TX-Coastal Bend Chapter was established in 2002 to empower individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy.

If you are a fundraising professional, board member of a nonprofit, community volunteer, student, or affiliate business who works regularly with non-profits you have come to the right place. We are here to provide networking and educational opportunities as well as career development that will enable you to continue to make a difference for the organizations which you serve.

  • Movie Screening: Uncharitable

Join us for a screening of Uncharitable, a thought-provoking documentary that challenges long-standing assumptions about the nonprofit sector and the way social impact organizations are funded, evaluated, and led. The film examines how traditional restrictions on overhead, compensation, and growth can unintentionally limit effectiveness and prevent nonprofits from scaling solutions to urgent social problems.

Following the screening, participants will engage in a facilitated Q&A and audience discussion designed to connect the film’s themes to real-world fundraising practice.
