Overview:
Just when we thought we knew everything about board governance, COVID-19 showed us so much more. Please join AFP and Stephanie Gorham as she shares how the pandemic has affected nonprofit boards and how we can leverage these opportunities to strengthen ours.

Speaker Biography:

Stephanie Gorham is a seasoned nonprofit development professional with 20 years’ experience with nonprofits in Texas and Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and is currently working on her MBA from Virginia Wesleyan University. Volunteerism, board service especially, has been an important part of her life as she has served on nonprofit boards since 2009, currently serving Hampton Roads Workforce Council, Southeastern Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, and Healthier757 boards. She is a 2012 recipient of the Top 20 Under 40 in North Texas, and a 2019 graduate of the CIVIC Leadership Institute.
