Program Overview:
In 2020 the Colonial Williamsburg Board of Trustees, senior leadership and others developed a new strategic plan to guide their educational mission, That the Future may learn from the Past. This new plan, which makes a tremendous impact on their mission, shares a more complete and more relevant story of America, and changed the nature of their conversations with major donors. Learn firsthand from the giving officers and Nation Builders* of Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, how they have cultivated ethical, transparent, and enriching relationships with their donors with mission-driven engagement.
A tour of Colonial Williamsburg will be offered prior to the program, time TBA and a social at Precarious Beer Project , located in Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchant Square at 110 S Henry St, Williamsburg, VA 23185 will follow.
*Nation Builders portray real historic figures associated with 18th-century Williamsburg who made significant contributions to the American story.
