Join us for this informative workshop with an experienced major gifts professional. During the program, you will gain an understanding the major gifts cycle and how to make it work for your donors and your organization. Specifically, you will learn how to:

  • Start and grow a major gift program.
  • Engage program staff and partners in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Steward and engage major donors in creative ways.

About the Presenter

In his more than 15 years of nonprofit experience, Adam has worked in the areas of veterans’ services, higher education, cancer research, human services and environmental education and conservation. Having worked with small, volunteer-led nonprofits to some of the largest nonprofits in the world (and everything in between), Adam brings a wide range of experience to his work with nonprofits.  

Adam is the current Director of Advancement for the Delaware Nature Society as well as a Fundraising Coach. He has been a manager and has led major gifts, annual fund, capital campaigns, special events and membership programs for the American Cancer Society, Freedom Alliance, The Salvation Army, Phi Kappa Psi Foundation, and Delaware Nature Society. 

Adam has a Masters in Philanthropic Studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy where he was a member of the Nu Lambda Mu honors society. He has helped found several small nonprofits in Delaware and he currently serves as the immediate past president of the Spur Impact Association, a group that in 2023 raised over $2.3M in 24 hours for nonprofits in Delaware.
