Yuri Casco, CFRE, USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation
With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising, Yuri is a passionate and strategic leader who drives donor-focused and mission-driven initiatives that support the healthcare sector. As the Director of Donor Engagement and Special Events at USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation, Keck Medicine of USC, Yuri oversees the development and management of donor engagement and fundraising special event activities that align with the organization's vision and goals. Yuri is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), proud board member of Somos El Poder, a National Latinx Fundraising Institute, an active member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals Greater Los Angeles Chapter (AFP-GLAC), where she served as the first Latina President in 2019. Yuri is an active member of the Southern California Association for Healthcare Development (SCAHD) and is a graduate of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Health System Philanthropy Residency Program and a recipient of the 2022 Awards for 40 Under 40 Healthcare Philanthropy Professionals. Yuri is committed to advancing access to healthcare through philanthropy while building strong and lasting relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders, empowering communities one gift at a time.
Megan Hayward, Social Justice Learning Institute & 2024 AFP-GLAC National Philanthropy Day Professional Fundraiser of the Year
Megan Hayward currently serves as the National Director of Development, where she leads a dynamic team in creating and executing comprehensive fundraising plans that drive significant financial support for the organization's mission and programs. Megan is passionate about igniting change through youth empowerment. With over 15 years of experience in fundraising in Southern California, Megan has been instrumental in developing revenue-generating programs for several charitable and advocacy organizations. Prior to joining SJLI, she assumed various fund development roles committed to fostering youth advocacy, improving mental health outcomes for children and families, secondary and higher education acceleration, and health equity advancement. With a wide and rich variety of hands-on experience, she is poised to grow brand awareness and increase market share through strategic initiatives and transformative giving. In her personal life, Megan is widely recognized as a professional connector, uniquely skilled in bridging the gap between sports and nonprofit industries. She volunteers her time mentoring young Black athletes through amateur exposure events.

A fundraising practitioner for 17 years, Lisa has successfully raised millions of dollars for local, regional, and national nonprofit organizations and has led and mentored high performing teams. She is the Chief Community Builder of The Coleman-Baxter Agency, Immediate-Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Los Angeles and has served on the Board of Directors for six years. Lisa held prior roles at MLK Community Health Foundation, After-School All-Stars Los Angeles, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She is a proud Afro-Latina, bibliophile, marathon dancer and mama of a very cool 10-year-old.

The networking event will take place in training room A on the first floor of our building - at the corner of Del Mar Blvd. and Raymond Ave.
Guests can park on Raymond Ave (pay attention to any parking signs), in the above-ground lot, or in the underground lot off of Raymond Ave.
From the street or above-ground parking:
Head north from your car, toward Del Mar Blvd.
Round the corner to enter the building from the large entry gates on Del Mar Blvd.
Walk straight a few feet until you see the grassed play yard. Turn right before it, look for the signs for Training Room A.
From the underground parking lot:
Take the far elevator (it's blue/green) to the first floor.
