Chapter Scholarships

It is the goal of the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter to support the professional development of its members.  One way the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter achieves this goal is by providing financial assistance in the form of scholarships.  The chapter has been given membership scholarships for those who could not otherwise join AFP. The chapter also supports members through offering scholarships to attend local chapter workshops. Scholarships will be awarded until all scholarship funds have been used. 

Chapter Scholarships are made possible by the generous donations of our members to the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter Fund.

I have profound gratitude for being selected as a recipient of an AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter membership scholarship this year. It was truly thrilling to learn of this opportunity, and I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to become a new member of AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter.

Receiving a one-year membership to AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter is an invaluable gift that will significantly support my professional growth. I am particularly excited about the prospect of accessing the training and industry-specific webinars, which I know will provide me with essential knowledge and opportunities to excel in my career within advancement and philanthropic fundraising. This scholarship truly means a lot, and I am confident it will help me expand my expertise and network within the field.

As someone who is receiving this opportunity, I am eager to pay it forward. That is why I am delighted to volunteer with the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter Scholarship committee. I am honored to get  involved and contribute to the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter Chapter.
