Janice Gow Pettey is a nonprofit executive, an author, a teacher, and noted authority on diversity, ethics, and nonprofit governance. She has a doctorate degree in organization and learning from the University of San Francisco. Janice is chair emeritus of both AFP Ethics Committee and the AFP Research Council. In 2008, Janice was awarded a Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy Award from the Golden Gate Chapter of AFP. She remains the only nonprofit professional to receive this honor from her home chapter.
