Chapter Program Highlights:
Annual Conference: Fundraising Day in Boston is one of the largest annual fundraising conferences in New England with over 600 attendees from the field of development. This is a full day experience featuring more than 30 sessions plus keynotes and networking opportunities.
Fundraising Fundamentals: Two days of intensive fundraising training for individuals new to the field. Fundraising Fundamentals stands out from other courses in that it offers an affordable price; a proven 25-year curriculum; and a faculty of senior practitioners in the field. Opportunities for students to network with one another and with senior professionals in the field are also provided.
Emerging Leaders Training: Leadership training for fundraising professionals with 4+ years of experience who aim to step into leadership roles. Taught by experienced leaders from the AFP Massachusetts community, this two-day, in-person program will equip you with the tools to elevate your career and your organization’s impact.
Meet the Funders: A popular program that features a local corporate/foundation funder who will give updates about their organization's funding priorities, application process, and answers questions from attendees.
Member Networking Events: Annual events that provide an opportunity for members to share an evening of networking with peers and often includes a speaker presentation on a topic of interest.
Massachusetts Gives Awards Celebration: Annual event that honors Massachusetts philanthropists and development professionals and celebrates the impact of philanthropy in our community.
