9/13, 20, 27/2019: Fundamentals of Fundraising
"Unique opportunity to Increase your Income. Boost your Fundraising Successes. Provide Stable Services for Your Clients/Participants. Advance your Career." 

The up-to-date AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is designed to address the real-world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face every day. Recognized as the international standard for the fundraising novice, the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course offers a complete overview o the development function, featuring the most current information and techniques. The 16-hour program includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable. All participants will receive learning materials and course books. This intensive program will provide an overview of skills, techniques and program components for the individual with up to 4 years of fundraising experience. Full participation in the course is applicable for 16.0 points of CFRE credit for the initial and/or re-certification.   Registration is now closed.

3: Marketing for Ongoing Success
4: Building & Sustaining Relationships
5: Securing the Gift
6: Volunteers--Partners in Fundraising
7: Management & Accountability

The course will be held Sept. 13, Sept. 20, and Sept. 27 from 8 AM-2 PM at Greenfield Community College, 1 College Drive, 
Greenfield, MA 01301.  All days must be attended to receive full CFRE credit for completion of the course

 

October 16, 2019 - Annual Members Meeting followed by Education Program: “The Truth Behind Networking: Finding Your Power in Relationship-Building” with local media superstar, Scott Coen. Location: Delaney House. Time: 7:30a.m. – 10:00a.m.  Registration is now closed. 


November 20, 2019 is International Philanthropy Day.  Let's Celebrate with an inspirational presentation
“Igniting your Resilient Spirit.”

February 19, 2020 – Know Your Audience or Asks Can Be Agony”  
with Donna Haghighat, Executive Director of the Womens’ Fund of Western Mass.

Donna Haghighat came to the Women’s Fund with over 12 years of experience developing programs, cultivating relationships, launching startups, fundraising, directing communications strategy, creating strategic plans and building advocacy programs. Under her leadership, the Women’s Fund has successfully launched The Young Women’s Initiative for girls and young women of color in Springfield and forged a partnership with University of Massachusetts Amherst where participants in the LIPPI leadership program receive 500 level academic credit. Prior to joining the Women’s Fund, Haghighat was Principal at Collabyrinth Collective, LLC.
