Resource Development

The AFP-NJ Chapter relies on the philanthropic support of individuals – both members and non-members – as well as corporations and foundations that recognize and value the Chapter’s mission to advance philanthropy through education, training, and advocacy across the state. AFP-NJ bases its programs and services on research, experience, and the highest code of ethical principles and standards of professional practice. The Resource Development Committee seeks gifts, sponsorships, and strategic relationships for programs and individual events conducted throughout the year.

Additionally, specific tasks for donor stewardship include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a structured stewardship plan as it relates to donors and sponsors for the chapter
  • Work in collaboration with the sponsorship committee in the solicitation and follow-up with prospective sponsors for the chapter
  • Assist in the follow-up with AFP-NJ chapter members who may be new or lapsed donors for AFP Global’s annual campaign
  • Assist in the celebration of fellow AFP-NJ Chapter members who commit to support AFP Global’s campaign throughout the year

Those interested in making a commitment to serve on the Resource Development Committee or assisting with a specific task are asked to contact Natalie Rae Krauser, at sponsorship@afp-nj.org.
