Job Description

St. Augustine Preparatory School (locally referred to as “The Prep”) is an independent, all male, Roman Catholic, Augustinian, college preparatory school sponsored by the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova.
 
Reporting directly to the Head of School and serving as a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) serves as a visionary leader responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing a comprehensive institutional advancement strategy for St. Augustine Preparatory School.

 

Salary:     
$115,000 - $125,000

Qualifications:   

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive fundraising or advancement experience, preferably within an independent school landscape or higher education. The successful candidate must have direct experience in annual giving strategy, capital campaigns, and scholarship/endowment fundraising, and proven success cultivating, soliciting, and closing major gifts. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Must have the willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as required by the advancement calendar.

Job Description
Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with St. Benedict’s Preparatory School in the search for a Director of Annual Giving. Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement Operations, the Director of Annual Giving will manage a comprehensive annual giving program. The Director will be charged with managing a team of two, expanding overall annual giving efforts, and managing a small portfolio of annual giving prospects.

Salary:     
$125,000 - $140,000

Qualifications:   

The Director will be a team player who is reliable, collaborative, and has experience and strong interest in supporting a dynamic and evolving nonprofit, mission-driven, independent school. They will bring the adaptability, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit needed to thrive within St. Benedict’s unique, evolving, and deeply community-centered environment. A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of seven years of experience in fundraising or a related field is required.
