The AFP Berks Regional Chapter will post job openings 
relating to advancement/development/philanthropy for nonprofit organizations that are located within Berks County and/or provide services to residents in Berks County at no cost for a 30 day time period.  This includes posting the ad on our Website and sending a notice through our Constant Contact account. 

A $50 posting fee will be charged to nonprofit organizations that are not located in Berks County or do not provide services within Berks County.  Checks can be made payable to AFP Berks Regional Chapter, and mailed to PO Box 331, Shillington, PA  19607.

All ads should be sent via a Microsoft Word File or pdf to afpberks@gmail.com. In line with AFP Global standards we ask that all ads submitted MUST include expected salary ranges for the position being advertised.

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County

West Reading, PA 

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County (BCSS) is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled
development professional to join the team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per
week Monday through Friday and reports to the Executive Director. (Some evenings and
weekends are required for meetings, programs, and special events/fundraisers).
Skills required: Proficient with Microsoft Office, working knowledge of fundraising CRM
database systems, analyzing data, professional writing including grant applications and
reporting, major gift solicitation, sponsor procurement, volunteer management, good
organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, capacity to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously, exceptional time management, ability to communicate with survivors, staff,
volunteers, and the public. Requires a valid PA Driver’s License.

Administrative Assistant

Salary Range: $12-14/hour

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County Administrative Assistant

PowerPoint, ability to use basic office equipment, working knowledge of Google Docs, good

Development Coordinator (Grants & Fundraising)

Salary Range: $24/hour

Reading Public Library

Reading, PA 

The Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Development and supports the efforts of
the Development Committee related to grant development, fundraising, and communications. In
addition, the position will participate as an active member of a team of professional employees
dedicated to implementing the long-range strategies of Reading Public Library (RPL).
The Development Coordinator will research, develop, and manage grant proposals and awards;
support donor relations and stewardship activities; and assist with the coordination of fundraising
events and communications.
The Development Coordinator plays an integral role in securing external funding and strengthening
community engagement to sustain and expand the Library’s programs, services, and capital
initiatives.
