Has someone done something for your non-profit that is worthy of special recognition? National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is your opportunity as local non-profits and fundraising professionals to recognize and honor those that have generously supported you over the years. By nominating these groups, individuals, foundations, young philanthropists and even fundraising professionals, this is your time to put the spotlight on their impact to your organization and the community at large.

Nomination categories include: 

Nomination Categories:
Judy Ann Lawrence Outstanding Fundraising Professional
Local fundraising professional that has demonstrated exemplary performance and a commitment to philanthropy and to donors through a career of 10 years or more in the field.

Outstanding Philanthropic Organization
Organization, corporate foundation, small or large business, club or organization with exemplary record of civic
responsibility in support of philanthropic causes, distinguishing themselves with creative and innovative programs.

Outstanding Foundation
Community or Family Foundation that has an exemplary record of civic responsibility in support of philanthropic
causes. Consideration should be made to those with creative and innovative programs, as well as to accessible and consistent grant processes with its publicly stated mission.

Outstanding Philanthropist(s)
Individual, couple, or family that has demonstrated exceptional generosity in providing financial support and
leadership for one or several non-profit causes and encouraged and motivated others to support the cause.

Outstanding Young Philanthropist
Individuals or groups under the age of 21 that have demonstrated exceptional generosity, leadership, and initiative in raising funds or motivating others to raise funds for a charitable cause or causes.

Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
Individual or groups with exemplary record of raising funds on behalf of your organization and mission

Each nomination should be completed through separate form submissions. Nominations for all categories are due on Monday, October 18, 2024.

Nominations are now open. 

All potential honorees will be contacted prior to announcement to formally accept their nomination. Honorees will be recognized at the NPD celebration on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Gannon Yehl Ballroom from 5-7 p.m.
