A philanthropist is a person who donates time, money, experience, skills and talent to help create a better world and in this case, a better Fort Worth metro area. Anyone can be a philanthropist, regardless of status or net worth.
This award can be presented to an individual, couple or family who has demonstrated remarkable philanthropic support, as defined above, for charitable causes in the greater Fort Worth area. Nominations should demonstrate that the candidate has made significant financial contributions- relative to their personal means, performed remarkable and sustained volunteer service, and provided leadership in the motivation of others to serve and contribute to local charitable causes and campaigns.
Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy
Philanthropic contributions to charitable causes can be made at almost any age.
This award can be presented to a youth, ages 5-23 or a group of youth who have demonstrated remarkable volunteer and/or financial support in backing of a charitable cause(s) or organization(s) in the Fort Worth metro area.
Outstanding Philanthropic Entity
Corporations, foundations and organizations significantly impact charitable causes through financial contributions, the deployment of organizational assets or the encouragement of employee giving of time and resources.
This award can be presented to a corporation, foundation, or any formal/informal organization that has demonstrated remarkable support for charitable causes in the Fort Worth metro area through financial contributions and employee volunteer and donation opportunities.
Outstanding Professional Fundraising Executive

Professional fundraisers play an important role in the philanthropic process and charitable work of our community. As the field of fundraising practice has advanced, professional fundraisers continue to impact the philanthropic process beyond just the communication of need and mission. Professional fundraisers are to a large extent the primary link between philanthropists and the impact they seek.
Candidates for this award will have demonstrated the highest professional practice and ethical standards in their professional service to charitable organization(s) in the Fort Worth metro area. Nominations should demonstrate professional experience, leadership in the field or practice of fundraising, and remarkable impact of their professional efforts.

This recognition will be given to candidates demonstrating excellence in professional and ethical practice of fundraising, personal philanthropic commitment, and leadership and service in the field.

Professional advisors and gift planners play a key role in connecting individuals to community needs by helping them meet their personal charitable giving goals.
Candidates should support philanthropy in their work by facilitating significant gifts to Fort Worth metro area charities as well as personally by giving time, talent, charitable contributions and leadership among fellow professionals. Eligibility is limited to candidates representing high professional standards in one of the following fields: accounting, banking, financial planning, insurance, investment services, law or gift planning for nonprofits.
