COVID-19 UPDATE - A Message from our President
Hello fellow fundraisers. How are you doing? We are facing unprecedented times and I wanted to let you know that we are here. We are here to support you, to guide you and to have conversations with you about anything and everything you are going through.
Since mid-March, we have had to drastically change the way we offer programming to our members. We have cancelled all in person lunch and learns, and are currently discussing as a board how to move forward with our June AGM. As we continue to figure all of this out, we would appreciate your input - please email us firstname.lastname@example.org. Please reach out if you have questions, concerns or ideas. Likely, you are the sole fundraiser (or one of a few) in your organization and that can be lonely and overwhelming. We are feeling it to. Now is the time to connect and discuss how we can get through this together.
Over the last two weeks, our board of directors has hosted 2 virtual ‘coffee breaks’. There is no agenda during these conversations and the main objective is to check in with our members and have casual conversations about fundraising during COVID-19. We will be hosting these ‘coffee breaks’ every other week on Tuesday’s at 2pm. Head to our Facebook page for details.
