As a member of AFP , you are a part of a large community. You are one of over 3,000 members in Canada AND you are one of over 27,000 members internationally. This year's priorities for the chapter will be to:

1. Promote inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA)
2. Provide relevant and high-quality fundraising education
3. Increase capacity and strengthen community
4. Champion ethical fundraising practices

    We’re Seeking 2–3 New Board Members

    The AFP Southern Alberta Chapter is growing, and we are seeking two to three new board members to help shape the year ahead. We are particularly interested in connecting with someone who would consider serving as Treasurer.

    We welcome individuals who are:

    • Passionate about strengthening philanthropy across Southern Alberta
    • Committed to ethical fundraising and AFP’s values
    • Interested in supporting professional development and networking opportunities throughout the region
    • Looking to build leadership and governance experience as part of a supportive volunteer board
    • Current AFP members or willing to become members

    Board members may contribute to areas such as governance, programming, membership engagement, communications and event planning. Whether you are an experienced fundraising professional or looking to take the next step in your leadership journey, we would love to hear from you.
