Light as Feather... The Importance of Collaboration

When:  Apr 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 01:30 PM (PT)
Associated with  AFP CA, Yosemite Chapter

Presented by Jason Poisson, The Jack and Buena Foundation

"So many nonprofit organizations in our community run parallel to each other without touching base or working together. While I understand some of the underlying reasons for this, I am here to suggest how that frame of thinking can be limiting. This presentation is for us to examine a few of the ways that collaborating can help us to increase our productivity, grant writing potentials, and staff building / retention. Throughout this presentation, we will share some ways that collaboration might help us personally and professionally. Through this process I hope that we open lines of communication with each other and our organizations in innovative and fun ways how we might be able to collaborate in the future."
