Jane R. Lanier, CFRE
Lanier Consulting and Strategy Services

Jane R. Lanier, CFRE is a Certified Fundraising Executive in Jacksonville, Florida. She owns and operates her own consulting firm, Lanier Consulting and Strategy Services, having served in leadership positions in the philanthropic fundraising field since 1991.

Jane R. Lanier, CFRE was President and System Chief Development Officer of St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation in Jacksonville, Florida from 1999 through 2019. The system includes St. Vincent’s Medical Center- Riverside, St. Vincent’s Medical Center – Southside, St. Vincent’s Medical Center – Clay County, St. Catherine Labouré Manor and St. Vincent’s Community Outreach Programs. During that time she raised more than $150 Million in funds to support the Mission of St. Vincent’s. This was accomplished with a great team of Development professionals, a dynamic Board and through God’s work and grace.

As President and Chief Development Officer, Jane was responsible for establishing, directing and implementing the Foundation’s complete fundraising program; in addition to distribution, investment and management of over $51 million in Foundation assets with annual revenue averaging $5M on non-campaign years.
Jane has over 30 years of experience in the fundraising, business and education fields. She is a graduate of Georgia State University and holds a B.S. Degree in Education. She has been a CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) since 1997. Jane has served as President of the Ascension Health Council on Philanthropy, the national organization of the Ascension Health Foundations. She has served as the President of the First Coast Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Jane Lanier serves on the Boards of the Jacksonville University Public Policy Institute; Guardian Catholic Schools; The Catholic Foundation; and is a past officer of the Junior League of Jacksonville. She continues to serve on the Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville.

Jane Lanier served as the Director of the YWCA Children’s programs in Jacksonville in 1991. She developed the first homeless daycare program in the city. Fourteen locations served infants through pre-school children in underserved areas of our city. Jane served as CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Jacksonville from 1992 to 1999, relocating and rebuilding a new Ronald McDonald House adjacent to our city’s children’s hospital. During that time she developed the Ronald McDonald House Family Room within the hospital setting, making this the third such facility in the country.

Jane is a volunteer with civic organizations in the Jacksonville community and is a Past President of the Meninak Club, as well as a Eucharistic Minister and Religious Education teacher at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville. Jane Lanier is the Regional Hospitaller of the Order of Malta, Federal Association. She is a recipient of the Diocesan Catholic Business Women’s Award, the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Women of Influence Award, and was designated as a “Woman of Distinction” by the Girl Scouts Gateway Council.

In 2013, Jane was listed as one of the Most Influential People in Jacksonville Healthcare by Jacksonville Magazine. In 2014, Jane received the Sister Mary Concilia Moran Award, the Catholic Health Association’s top award, for innovative, visionary leadership.

She and her husband, Randy, have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
