Executive Director

The Children’s Foundation serving Hastings, Northumberland and Prince Edward Counties is seeking an Executive Director. The Children’s Foundation (TCF) has been serving children and youth in Hastings County since 1991 and in 2015 expanded to include Northumberland and Prince Edward Counties. The Children’s Foundation is an autonomous organization governed by its own volunteer Board of Directors and is the charitable arm of Highland Shores Children’s Aid (HSCA). Additionally, TCF offers programs for families who have no affiliation to HSCA. Programs and services aim to educate and inspire members of the communities served and to effect change that bring people and financial resources together to improve the quality of life for at-risk children and youth.

Join a proven leading organization - large enough to impact mental health outcomes for youth across the province but small enough to be a dynamic team and change agent. The Manager, Development of the Roberts/Smart Centre will have the exciting responsibility for revenue development from various stakeholders including individuals, corporations and foundations. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Manager, Development will work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop a strong case for support, a strategic fundraising plan and build relationships that move the mission of the Centre forward.

The Manager, Development will maintain existing and build new strong, donor relationships through effective communications, fundraising and stewardship strategies with the overall goal to inspire donors into sustainable giving through shared values and goals.

February 28, 2020 Donor Relations Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Donor Relations Manager is responsible for building a successful, comprehensive fund development program for Hospice Quinte.  The role is tasked with building relationships with individuals, donors, businesses, foundations, and other sources for the purposes of enhancing and growing revenue as well as current and prospective donors.  As necessary, the Donor Relations Manager will recruit and supervise volunteers to help with fund development efforts.  Paramount to this position is the ability to work with a high degree of independence, and juggle various projects at once.  Some evening and weekend work will be required.
