Queen's University is seeking a senior member of the Advancement Leadership Team, the Associate Vice-Principal (Development) will participate in long-term planning for the Office of Advancement, and play a key role in providing strategy, service, and support to faculties and university-wide services. This is accomplished in collaboration, partnership, and mutual-accountability with faculty-based advancement leads, and their respective teams, as well as a small team of centralized fundraisers and support staff. Additionally, the AVP (Development) will work directly to develop relationships with a portfolio of prospective donors for the benefit of Queen’s priority needs.

The Royal Military Colleges of Canada Foundation Inc. is a registered charity whose mission is to engage alumni and Canadians alike, in donorship and sponsorship activities above and beyond the mandate of the Canadian Forces to preserve and enhance the experience, history, traditions and culture of the Canadian Military Colleges as they develop Canada’s future leaders.

The Foundation Development Officer (“FDO”) reports directly to the Foundation’s Executive Vice President (EVP). The FDO will work closely with the EVP and the Chair of the Fundraising Committee to plan, execute and deliver ambitious income targets from a range of potential donors.
