About us:
The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Hudson Valley (AFPGHV) Chapter has been providing resources to fundraising professionals who serve public charities registered in the seven counties in the Greater Hudson Valley including Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester since 2006. The chapter empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional development education, networking, research, and advocacy.
As a volunteer-based organization, the chapter provides opportunities for members to serve on committees and contribute to the Chapter’s ongoing development - further developing the leadership skills of our members. The resources provided to our membership is comprised of professional development education sessions, networking events to create opportunities for collaboration to better serve those in our local community, and the ability to share resources and ideas as to further all of our missions.
AFP GHV works in collaboration with other professional development organizations in the area to provide educational opportunities of the highest quality through pooling of resources. As a volunteer-based organization, the Chapter provides opportunities for members to serve on committees and contribute to the Chapter’s ongoing development.
