AFP-IC offers many benefits to its members. One of the benefits includes the opportunity to receive a scholarship to continue your education in the fundraising sector, attend one of our events, and receive a new member discount on your first year membership.
CFRE and Education Scholarship - $500 - Deadline October 31, 2024
The CFRE and Education Scholarship provides an AFP-IC member the opportunity to participate in a fundraising related professional development or to assist in the CFRE process. AFP-IC will cover the cost up to $500. To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must be an AFP-IC member, you must be employed as a fundraising professional, and, if applying for the CFRE, must me the requirements to take the exam. Chamberlain Scholarship - registration and up to $2000 for expenses - Deadline October 31, 2024The Chamberlain Scholarship is awarded by the AFP Foundation to a member who has never attended the AFP International Conference. The AFP Foundation will cover the cost of conference registration and AFP-IC will cover up to $2,000 of the recipient's travel and lodging expenses for the conference. To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must be an AFP-IC member, you must be employed as a fundraising professional, and you can not have attended the International Conference before. Scholarship Requirements
Applicants must live in the state of Indiana and be engaged in the practice or study of philanthropy. Applicants must be a current member of AFP-IC excepting new member scholarships. Organizations/individuals who have received scholarship funds for two consecutive years are not eligible in the third year.
