AFP-IC offers many benefits to its members. One of the benefits includes the opportunity to receive a scholarship to continue your education in the fundraising sector, attend one of our events, and receive a new member discount on your first year membership. Applications are due by Friday, September 10th, 2021.

International Conference Scholarship
The International Conference Scholarship provides an AFP-IC member the opportunity to attend the AFP International Conference at no cost. AFP-IC will cover the cost of the member's conference registration, travel, lodging, and food. To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must be an AFP-IC member and you must be employed as a fundraising professional. New Member Scholarship
The New Member Scholarship covers $50 of the membership fee for new members to join AFP-IC. To be eligible, you must be a first-time member and you must be employed as a fundraising professional. There are five scholarships that are awarded on a first-come, first serve basis. Click here for the New Member Scholarship application.
Rejuvenation Scholarship - up to $2000
In order to serve our community of fundraisers, this scholarship was created to support individuals who have worked in the field for five years or longer who are in need of an opportunity to recharge and re-engage with their calling as fundraisers. This scholarship can be used to travel, attend a conference, or enroll in a training course, among other possibilities. Click here for the Rejuvenation Scholarship application.
CFRE Scholarship - up to $500
The CFRE is the widely recognized accreditation for fundraising professionals, adding a degree of professionalism to our field. AFP Indiana is pleased to offer support for a deserving candidate to participate in a preparatory course through the chapter and to cover testing fees. Education Scholarship - up to $2500
This scholarship is intended to support professional development for a member of AFP Indiana. It can be used to fund a training or course on any aspect of fundraising. Click here for the Education Scholarship application.
Spring Conference: JGA Scholarships in Honor of Dan Schipp - six member scholarships and one non-member
In honor of Dan Schipp’s lifelong impact on the field of philanthropy and to celebrate his retirement, Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates is proud to underwrite professional development scholarships for six AFP-IC members and one non-member to attend the AFP-IC & CGPI Spring Conference presented by JGA. These scholarships will allow fundraisers to gain additional training that will help them raise more funds to support their missions – just as Dan has trained and mentored dozens of fundraisers throughout his long and distinguished career. Scholarship Requirements
Applicants must live in the state of Indiana and be engaged in the practice or study of philanthropy. Applicants must be a current member of AFP-IC (unless noted otherwise). Organizations/individuals who have received scholarship funds for two consecutive years are not eligible in the third year.
