Collaborative Cause Consulting helps nonprofits grow individual giving through practical fundraising systems, donor journeys, and coordinated implementation. We support organizations across Canada through fractional fundraising, campaigns, and systems development.
This role is ideal for an emerging fundraising professional who wants meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to grow into leadership within client delivery.
Candidates must reside in Nova Scotia. This is a remote role with occasional travel for client meetings or events.
About the Role
This position begins at approximately 10 hours per week and focuses on supporting client work and internal fundraising systems. As you learn CCC’s approach, responsibilities will expand to include implementing fundraising activities, using digital tools, supporting grants and campaigns, and gradually taking on more coordination with clients.
Depending on client needs, you may also be assigned a client-facing support role, such as acting as a Fractional Campaign Manager for a capital campaign or serving as the implementation lead for a client’s individual giving program, while overall strategy and oversight remain with a CCC account manager & senior strategist.
This progression is gradual and supported. You will not be expected to take on client leadership until you have the tools, training, and experience to do so confidently.
Hours will increase as responsibilities grow. You will also coordinate with CCC’s trusted collaborators who support marketing, creative, digital, and communications work.

Growing responsibilities
As you gain experience in CCC’s systems and approach, and as client needs evolve, your role will gradually expand to include leadership responsibilities such as:
- Managing day-to-day client communication
- Leading portions of client meetings and presenting updates
- Coordinating timelines, deliverables, and project flow
- Overseeing implementation of fundraising activities from client plans
- Drafting donor communications and stewardship updates with minimal oversight
- Identifying donor or campaign insights through dashboard reporting
