POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a comprehensive annual giving program that engages alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of CBA. This individual will play a key role in fostering a culture of philanthropy and supporting the school’s mission of providing a transformative Lasallian Catholic education. The position requires some evening and weekend work.
JOB DUTIES
Annual Fund Management:
-Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the Annual Fund, increasing participation and dollars raised.
-Create and manage direct mail, email, social media, and other digital outreach campaigns.
-Collaborate with the Vice President of Institutional Advancement to establish annual fundraising goals.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship:
-Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of annual donors.
-Build and maintain meaningful relationships with alumni, parents, and friends of CBA.
-Coordinate donor recognition efforts, including events and acknowledgment letters.
Collaboration & Communication:
-Partner with other Advancement team members to ensure alignment across fundraising efforts.
-Work closely with the Communications Director to develop compelling messaging and materials.
Events Management:
-Support fundraising and stewardship events such as reunions and Giving Days.
Data Management & Reporting:
-Maintain accurate records of donor interactions in the school’s Database.
-Analyze donor data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
-Provide regular progress reports on fundraising goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; excellent organization skills including multi-tasking; the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment; strong volunteer management skills; and excellent computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft applications is essential, as are data analysis, segmentation, and research skills. Familiarity with Blackbaud Raisers Edge and various other donor based programs helpful but not required. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or better in an appropriate field and at least 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, or a related field. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of philanthropy and donor cultivation.
OTHER
Full-time, salaried position with full benefits. Reports to the VP of Institutional Advancement.

Start Date: Assume responsibilities Spring 2025
Salary/Benefits: Salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 based upon experience with competitive benefits, including tuition benefit; competitive retirement benefits.
